Hold overs from the Obama era claim that the economic growth being reported now has nothing to do with Trump’s economic policies and that this is all growth created by Obama’s policies now just maturing. Yet we know that during the Obama years the Federal Reserve and the Obama administration implemented what they called Qualitative Easing (essentially printing money) lowered interests to near zero – and increased the national debt by trillions of dollars. Now Pres. Trump has led the way with tax cuts, and other major spending changes. Is the growth we’re seeing now with companies reinvesting billions of dollars here genuine growth or is it a mirage like during the Obama administration?
