The Candidate Who Wants to Destroy America

We’ve seen destruction recently of property and demonstrations in the streets of many of our cities because of supposed discrimination by police. We’ve heard Donald Trump talk of the system as being “rigged” so that Republicans have less of a chance of winning our nation’s top office. Jihadists send fear into the hearts of Americans — and yet, as we see them bring murder and mayhem to our communities, the administration can’t even say the words “Islamist terrorist.”

What in the world is going on?

Believe it or not, I believe we are not witnessing independent and unrelated events — but the outworking of a global plan put in place right after World War II. Why do I believe this? For many reasons. Recently, however, while studying to prepare to preach a four-week series entitled, “Making Sense Out of Nonsense,” I found some compelling proof.

The year was 1958, just three years after I was born. At that time, America was still painfully remembering the worldwide killing of 60 million men and women. That included 1,076,245 Americans of the Greatest Generation who went off to war and fought for our freedom. These patriots gave their all to rid the world of fascism and to stop the Axis Powers fixated on bringing the world under the rule of jack-booted thugs.

Adolf Hitler and Hirohito had designs on America and the free world. Only blood, sweat, prayer, and tears could stop them. Yet even then, there were people who embraced a radical global vision for world control that included a detailed, long-term strategy to destroy the United States. The vision embraced by these globalists thrives today, with some wishing to exercise leadership in our nation. One person who noted these strategies and was willing to enunciate them in 1958 was Robert Welch.

During my preparation for an exposé on the dangers of globalism to America, I found a clip of a speech Welch gave in 1974 that contained content he had written all the way back in 1958. It presented a 10-point strategy to diminish the influence of America and destroy her national sovereignty and economic strength. In a recent “Stand in the Gap Today” radio program from our team at the American Pastors Network, this clip was also used to help compare the positions and statements of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the candidates’ first debate.

While there is much information to analyze, these 10 points show how the “one world” globalists have tried to implement policies that would destroy our nation as we know it — and how the positions articulated by a certain party and their respective platform aligns with the globalists’ goal to destroy our nation.

Ask yourself: Will you vote to destroy America — or make it great once again?

Here are the 10 things Welch talked about. Consider which of the candidates for president agrees with each of these deas:

1.) Greatly expanded government spending for every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible.

2.) Higher, and then, much higher taxes.

3.) An increasingly unbalanced budget, despite higher taxes.

4.) Wild inflation of our currency.

5.) Government control of prices, wages and materials, supposedly to combat inflation.

6.) Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives. This is to be accompanied, naturally and automatically, by a correspondingly huge increase in our bureaucracy and in both the cost and reach of our domestic government.

7.) Far more centralized power in Washington, with practical elimination of our state lines.

8.) The steady advance of federal aid to and control over our educational system leading to complete federalization of our public education.

9.) A constant hammering into the American consciousness of the horror of modern warfare; the duties and the absolute necessity of peace — peace always on communist terms, of course.

10.) The consequent willingness of the American people to allow the steps of appeasement by our government, which amount to a piecemeal surrender of the rest of the free world and of the United States itself. (These points are taken from the two speeches in 1958 and in 1974 by Robert Welch that discussed elements to weaken and destroy America.)

Do the 10 points above sound like ideas from Republican candidate Donald Trump and his supporters — or from Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and their Establishment supporters and cohorts?

Please pray with me that the eyes of Americans will be opened to what the evil among us want to do to our country to put us under their “jack boot” and make us all slaves. The Bible says we need to know the truth and the truth will make us free. I pray to God every day that it’s not too late for that to happen for us, our children, and grandchildren.

Measuring the Man

A Christian Pastor’s Analysis of the U.S. Election Drama

Is Trump good for America?

I mentioned Sunday that I would speak on this next week. Unfortunately, I found that I was shoehorning this topic into my planned message. To properly present what I want to speak on Sunday, I may have to leave the Donald out of it! But let me take a minute for those that wonder and give some of my thoughts.

When I first heard that Trump (DT) was entering the race last year, I told my wife that perhaps it was a good thing for the party and America. I knew that he was not a “saint,” but I thought that he would be like a bull in a china shop. He is a disrupter and I believe America could use a fresh thinker especially in the political arena. I didn’t think he would get the nomination, but that he would shake up politics as usual. I was correct on the shaking up!

Lance Wallnau likens him to a biblical Cyrus. Someone who is dynamically used of God even though not perceived by many as a God follower. God has used many people in history that I would probably not like or agree with. I’m not sure I would have liked all the disciples, or David, or Moses. Somehow, God did not seem compelled to consult with me on His choices!

I have always admired Winston Churchill. He is seen as one of the greatest national leaders in the 20th century. Last year, I had the privilege of going through the War Museum in London. Winston is a key feature. His life is controversial. He was not always celebrated as a great leader. He was a bombastic, cigar smoking, at times crude, even misogynistic leader. It is alleged that he told off color stories to his children before bedtime! A woman once told him he was disgustingly drunk. His response was “My dear, you are disgustingly ugly, but tomorrow I shall be sober and you will still be ugly!”

There are many websites that discuss the outlandish comments and activities of this great world leader. But, he had exactly what was needed to stop Hitler at the Channel, to rouse a nation to never give up and to partner with America to find final victory in Europe. You probably wouldn’t want him as your pastor, maybe not even your father, but he was the right leader for that moment in England’s history. Such a brazen man that would go up to the roof of his quarters in central London and smoke cigars as Hitler’s air force bombed all around him. I’m not sure I would have voted for him…. but he was the right man!

I think it would be awesome to have a righteous leader, one that understood the intricacies of the economy, health care, defense, immigration, with great sensitivity to religious institutions, a heart for the poor, a vision for the future. If that leader was a praying person, formidable in the word of God and loved the local church, I would rejoice! I do not think that is the choice we will have in November.

Instead….we will look for someone who is imperfect, yet will fit the times we are living in. Particularly, that ‘whoever’ we vote for, will be someone who might possibly have the opportunity to appoint up to three Supreme Court justices. That could radically shape our culture in America for the next 30 years. The America of our grandchildren could be very different….and that may not be good. We cannot stand on the sidelines. A non-vote is a passive vote for a direction we may very well regret.

So…is Donald Trump good for America? I honestly believe that he has been already. He has shaken the political system. Do his comments offend me? At times! Do I agree with all he says? Not at all! But could he be a “Cyrus” being raised up by God to preserve America? Nobody liked Gen. Patton, but he sure WAS an instrument of the United States for the right things.

This I know. I will vote for the best chance for America. I will pray for our leaders as I have already. In the end – God will continue to be my source and my hope. I do believe that God has had a hand in America’s history. I hope and pray that He will also have a saving hand in America’s futur

Sam Rohrer, President of the American Pastors Network, will be a part of the National Solemn Assembly event, “The Gathering,” in Southlake, Texas, on Sept. 21. He will join a host of internationally known leaders who will come together for corporate prayer for the country’s leaders, families, churches and communities, as well as to encourage repentance and the pursuit of God throughout America.

According to the event website, “The Gathering is the body of Christ coming together one day to unite across racial, denominational and generational lines, lifting up the name of Jesus and taking responsibility for the condition of our nation. No personality, denomination or organization will be promoted.”

“People who are diverse yet have much in common are coming together for The Gathering in an effort to unite our country in prayer,” Rohrer said. “As a pastors network, we are directly in the middle of the most important issues across the country. We encourage pastors to pray for the nation from the pulpit and lead the members of their congregations to be godly in their commitment to their communities.”

The Gathering consists of two separate events: the National Solemn Assembly Leaders’ Event from noon to 3 p.m. CT Sept. 21, and the National Solemn Assembly that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. CT. Kentucky Pastors Network Joins American Pastors Network; Commits to Stand for Biblical Truth in All Pulpits

The American Pastors Network, the largest national network dedicated to equipping pastors to be a voice for truth in the public square, is welcoming a new state pastors network to its growing organization.

This week, APN is launching the Kentucky Pastors Network (KYPN, www.kypastors.net), a carefully selected group of pastors in Kentucky who are joining together to “Stand in the Gap for Truth.”

“The American Pastors Network has been standing in the gap for truth around America and is growing again through the new Kentucky Pastors Network,” said APN President Sam Rohrer, who is also president of the Pennsylvania Pastors Network (PPN,www.papastors.net). “We know that pastors there will be an invaluable support to one another as they engage their congregations to stand for truth and freedom and effect true change in the culture.”

Leading the Kentucky network as its president will be Pastor Randy Smith, who grew up in the Bluegrass State and was called to ministry at an early age. He has served in prison ministries, traveled on mission trips to Haiti, prayed in front of the White House and championed the position of Kentucky clerk Kim Davis for her religious liberties. Smith also ran for State Representative for the 99th District in 2016, losing by just 176 votes.

“I now feel God has moved me to a point in time to rally the Christians in Kentucky to continue to stand, and be ready to stand when the time comes to fight against the ungodliness of overreaching activist judges and politicians,” Smith wrote on the KYPN website. “I look forward to reaching out to pastors and Christians all across the state, of all denominations, to join myself, Pastor Steve Hickerson and Pastor Tom Redman as we lead Kentucky to ‘Stand in the Gap for Truth.’”

Hickerson will serve as KYPN’s vice president, and Redman will serve as secretary/treasurer.

APN focuses on a concerted effort to grow its state pastors’ network initiative through a plan to welcome pastors in all 50 states who will serve as State Network Organizing Representatives. The ultimate goal is to develop free-standing state chapters of pastors and leaders in each state. These state networks will focus on their particular states and carry out the mission and purpose of the American Pastors Network, which include:

  1. Identifying, encouraging, equipping and educating pastors and church members to “Stand in the Gap for Truth”;
  2. Being a voice for truth and an advocate for pastors in the public square by providing Bible-based and constitutionally consistent analysis and recommendations on matters of public policy; and
  3. Strengthening the biblical relationship between pastors and elected officials through various private and public meetings for prayer, study and policy discussion.

Current chapters are already doing the important work of providing timely, in-state leadership on issues impacting local families and congregations. Examples of their efforts include speaking out in the defense of marriage and standing up for religious liberty.

With Election Three Months Away, Be Armed with a ‘Voter Integrity Checklist’ at the Polls

In this presidential election, perhaps more than any other, voters are making up their minds about the candidates based on a wide variety of issues—some social, some spiritual.

But regardless of which matters ultimately help voters decide, the how is abundantly important.

This headline-making election season has been a frequent topic of discussion on “Stand in the Gap Today,” the daily news and commentary radio program from the American Pastors Network and PA Pastors Network President Sam Rohrer says it’s imperative that Christians not only vote, but vote with a biblically based checklist in mind on Nov. 8.

“Voting truly does have a lifetime of accountability,” Rohrer said. “The faithful cannot simply choose a name on a whim or go along with what the polls are dictating. Rather, voting must be a carefully considered, prayerful and serious decision. Our prayer is that every Christian will base their voting decisions on biblical principles and wisdom, rather than emotion or what the polls might say.”

Decades ago, Rohrer created his “Voting Integrity Checklist,” a series of questions he developed for himself to use during nearly 20 years in office. It helps not only to ensure votes of integrity, but to also permit voters to have confidence in how candidates may conduct themselves while in office. Ultimately, a number of Rohrer’s fellow legislators adopted this simple checklist, with the application to evaluate potential candidates on how they measure up to a carefully prioritized list of considerations.

“The more a candidate’s views and positions mirror this list,” Rohrer said, “the more constitutional and moral their decisions in office will be.”

According to Rohrer, questions to ask when progressing through the “Voter Integrity Checklist” include:

  1. Is it moral?
  2. Is it constitutional?
  3. Does it preserve individual freedom and responsibility (vs. strengthening government control)?
  4. Does it preserve and strengthen the traditional family?
  5. Is it in the best interest of the general public (vs. only special interests)?
  6. Is it necessary?
  7. Should it be done on the federal level?
  8. Is this an effective and efficient way to do it?
  9. Do we have the money to pay for it?

Rohrer’s “Voting Integrity Checklist” stemmed from his teenage years, when a pastor shared with him a five-point checklist for making tough decisions. Rohrer carried and used that checklist through high school and college, through 15 years in business, and onto the floor of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where he modified it to meet the demands of legislative votes.

Fearful or Fearless?

Planned Parenthood, the leftist, pro-murder organization founded by radical racist Margret Sanger, endorsed Hillary Clinton during the primary season–the first time they’ve ever done so during a primary election.

Now, they’ve announced that they plan to have voter registration drives at their abortion service locations.  It is NOT illegal to conduct such drives, provided they are done in a non-partisan manner. So, I have no problem with their decision to engage in the electoral process.

What IS troubling to me is the hesitation, or refusal, of pastors/churches to conduct non-partisan voter registration drives at their churches. Fear of violating the IRS “ban” on political activity, fear of negative congregational response, or fear of being labeled “political” will cause many pastors to stay on the sidelines during this most critical election cycle ever.

May I humbly urge all Bible-believing pastors to “pitch” your fears, educate yourself on the legality, yea necessity, of voter registration drives, and encourage congregational participation in what I believe to be our civic and Biblical duty–voting.

As my dad used to say, “If you fail (or refuse) to engage in the process, you’ve forfeited your right to utter a single complaint, when you view with disdain the leftward trek of the nation.” With that, I couldn’t agree more!

APN Weighs in on NBA Punishing NC for Bathroom Law

(CNSNews.com) – Family and faith advocates are responding to the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) decision last week to move its 2017 All-Star Game from the planned venue in Charlotte, North Carolina because of the state’s law requiring people to use public bathrooms and lockers that match their biological sex.

Despite this and other attacks on the state, Gov. Pat McCrory and Lt. Gov. Dan Forest have not backed down. Also, several other states are putting protections in place following President Barack Obama’s mandate from the Department of Justice (DOJ) that transgender people should be able to use facilities based on their “gender identity,” and that not allowing them to do so could violate federal civil rights law.

“After weathering the storm — and picking up millions of allies — North Carolina isn’t about to flinch just because a sports league beholden to the Left’s cultural bullies is picking up their ball and leaving town,” said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council, in a statement.

“If losing the NBA All-Star Game is what it costs to keep the Tar Heels safe, so be it,” Perkins said. “It’s a small price to pay for even one child’s innocence.”

“And here’s the irony: the state legislature firmly supports businesses like the NBA making their own decisions – which anyone who reads the law knows H.B. 2 is all about,” Perkins said. “North Carolina, like most states, doesn’t believe the government should be telling executives how to run their businesses, especially on policies that carry as much liability as this one.”

Ralph Reed, chairman of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, said the NBA’s move is an “assault on common sense.”

“The NBA’s decision to punish the state of North Carolina simply because it protects the privacy of its citizens in bathrooms, locker rooms, and shower facilities is an assault on common sense and strong families,” Reed said in at statement. “The NBA should focus on basketball, not left-wing and special interest politics.”

“Unless and until the NBA allows men to enter WNBA locker rooms, it should leave bathroom policy to state legislatures,” Reed said.

The American Pastors Network has also spoken out against the NBA decision, noting that the move may prove more harmful to the sports organization than the state of North Carolina.

‘For so many years, the NBA has been the framework to showcase athletic professionalism and excellence,” Sam Rohrer, president of the American Pastors Network, said in a statement. “For NBA leadership to stoop to political correctness and to permit their focus to be hijacked not only tarnishes the NBA image but diminishes the ability to focus on athletic excellence and professional conduct.”

“The very notion that the NBA feels its mission is to ‘punish’ a legislature, a governor and citizens of such a fine state as North Carolina for acting in accordance with the wishes of the people and the biblical and moral definition of human sexuality is a demonstration of a serious hijacking of historic principle and purpose,” Rohrer said.

“Whereas the NBA may believe its actions will punish North Carolina, I believe this action will prove to be an undoing of the organization,” he said.

“Since the successful passage of HB2, the state of North Carolina has already begun to experience positive economic outcomes,” said Dave Kistler, president of the North Carolina Pastors Network. “Most importantly, our state is in the middle of several spiritual awakenings.”

“I believe these to be nothing less than the smile of God on the courageous actions of our N.C. legislature and governor,” Kistler said.

In a statement released last week announcing the decision, the NBA said the “climate” in the state of North Carolina was not right for its event.

“Our week-long schedule of All-Star events and activities is intended to be a global celebration of basketball, our league, and the values for which we stand, and to bring together all members of the NBA community — current and former players, league and team officials, business partners, and fans,” the NBA statement said. “While we recognize that the NBA cannot choose the law in every city, state, and country in which we do business, we do not believe we can successfully host our All-Star festivities in Charlotte in the climate created by HB2.”
