Join us for a morning of celebration and renewal with pastors, family, friends, and neighbors.
As believers, we are called to have an influence on our culture. We are working for a united voice to honor God’s gift to America of self-governance. We will eat, enjoy fellowship,
and share ideas with other people of faith beyond the church door.
Keynote Speakers: Pastor David Carey and Sam Rohrer

Our first honored speaker, Pastor David Carey, comes to us from the Word of Life Christian Center in nearby Newark, DE. He and his wife, Pastor Nancy Carey, planted Word of Life in 1987, and it has since grown to over 1000 multi-cultural congregants with great energy and evangelism. Pastor Carey will speak on “Dualism,” and the need for Christians to be engaged outside the Church itself in six additional spheres of influence: Business, Family, Education, Media, Arts & Entertainment, and Government. He will share a brief history of when such engagement was a matter of course, as well as when and why it changed.

Our second speaker, the Honorable Sam Rohrer, is a former businessman, legislator and gubernatorial candidate now serving as President of the Pennsylvania Pastors Network. Mr. Rohrer will explore “The Biblical Intersection of Church and State.” He will discuss William Penn’s basis of government – overwhelmingly constructed on the foundation of faith and freedom of religion – and why God’s authority encompasses Church and state. Once we truly understand where authority comes from – and our role in the chain of authority – we will necessarily be involved in matters outside the Church.
