Welcome to the American Pastors’ Network, a network of biblical and faith based pastors and church liaisons whose objective is to build a permanent infrastructure of like-minded pastors who:
- Affirm the authority of Scripture
- Take seriously Jesus’ command to be “salt and light” to the culture
- Want to encourage informed Biblical thinking about contemporary social issues
- Want to examine public policy issues without politicizing their pulpits, using well-prepared teaching and preaching resources
- Want to engage their congregations in taking part in our political process on a non-partisan basis.
These are tough but exciting goals—and much-needed within the true Christian church today.
We know it comes as no surprise to you that today our society is struggling morally and spiritually. You’ve seen the constant battle – the family’s fight for its very soul. The attack on our culture is underway and the truth is, when God’s people repent of their sins and return to biblical obedience (II Chron. 7:13-14), God will hear our prayers and heal our land. As pastors, you hold the hearts of the people in your hands, and when people need someone to turn to for answers, you are there. We want to help equip you with the information and resources to help deal with today’s moral, social and spiritual dilemmas.
Historically, churchgoers have turned to their pastors and church leaders for moral strength, guidance, and leadership. Strong pastors and preachers are everywhere in our country’s history. As you are well aware, in today’s cultural climate, it is a daunting task to be that church leader, and to maintain the resources to assist families struggling against such issues as deteriorating traditional marriage, pornography, rampant sexual permissiveness, the undermining of a biblical worldview in our public schools, abortion and other evils that seek to destroy the core teachings of our Christian faith.
The American Pastors’ Network is here to offer leadership and support and to minister to those in the front lines of this battle. We hope our ministry and this website will assist you in your quest to provide your church members with the information and resources you need in order to have a positive impact on our culture.
